Reading progress update: I've read 54 out of 250 pages.
Oh good lord, this book starts out about male agression and grrr and how they are the mecha, and then we get to see the protag who is all awesome BUT socially awkward. And ARG..
def a male power fantasy type book. All the women in the book don't even look like the get to do anything and certainly don't get in the cockpit because I guess lady brains might not be agressive enough or.. I dunno if the author thought that far ahead or thought that far at alll considering this book was BASED on the anime and not the other way around.
